Emergency First Aid At Work Course 8 December 2022
First Aid and Safety Training will be running an Emergency First Aid At Work Course 8 December 2022, Thursday from 9 am to 4.30 pm at Armstrong Hall in South Shields.

This course will teach you everything you need to know in the event of an emergency, so no matter how minor the situation is when it happens, there will be nothing stopping you from acting quickly and accordingly.

What is covered in the Emergency First Aid Course?
This course provides basic life saving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering:
- Adult resuscitation (CPR)
- Burns and scalds
- Choking adult
- Communication and casualty care
- Defibrillator prompts and how to respond
- Defibrillator pad placement
- Minor and severe bleeding
- Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
- Unresponsive adult
