Our trainer will attend your premises and conduct the Level 3 Emergency First Aid At Work Course for up to 12 people in one go, making this the easiest solution to ensure your staff are compliant and in-date for their First Aid Training.
The course runs from 9 am to 4.30 pm, all equipment is provided and the qualification is nationally recognised, awarded by Qualsafe and remains in date for 3 years (yearly refreshers are available).
First Aid and Safety Training run monthly Emergency First Aid At Work Courses on Thursdays from 9 am to 4.30 pm at Armstrong Hall in South Shields.
What is covered in the Emergency First Aid Course?
This course provides basic life-saving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering:
- Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
- How to act in an emergency situation
- Communication and casualty care
- Adult resuscitation (CPR)
- Use of an AED, Automated External Defibrillator
- Dealing with an unresponsive adult
- Choking adult
- Minor and severe bleeding
- Minor injuries
- Lots more.
