Emergency First Aid At Work

The 1-day Emergency First Aid At Work (EFAW) course is designed to provide learners with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to effectively handle a variety of emergency situations. Throughout the course, participants will develop the expertise to manage an unresponsive casualty, administer CPR, deal with choking incidents, handle shock, treat wounds and bleeding, and manage minor injuries.

Our comprehensive training ensures that you will gain the confidence and competence to respond promptly and appropriately when faced with critical emergencies.

First Aid At Work

In the comprehensive 3-day First Aid At Work (FAW) course, learners will acquire the essential skills and knowledge to effectively handle a wide range of first aid situations. Throughout this in-depth course, participants will develop expertise in assessing incidents, managing unresponsive casualties, performing CPR, addressing heart attacks, handling choking incidents, managing head and spinal injuries, treating fractures, and responding to anaphylaxis and other critical emergencies.

The FAW course program is designed to provide you with the necessary tools and confidence to respond promptly and appropriately in various first aid scenarios. First Aid Annual Refresher

The annual First Aid Refresher Course is designed to ensure that individuals maintain and enhance their first aid skills, keeping them up to date with the latest techniques and knowledge. Throughout the 1/2 -day refresher course, participants will revisit and reinforce their understanding of key first aid principles, such as assessing an incident, providing CPR, managing choking incidents, responding to cardiac emergencies, treating various injuries, and handling common medical conditions.

Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to refresh their knowledge on the proper use of first aid equipment and gain valuable insights into any recent advancements or updates in the field. By participating in our annual First Aid Refresher Course, individuals can confidently maintain their ability to respond effectively in emergency situations, reinforcing their role as skilled and capable first aiders.

Paediatric First Aid Course

The Paediatric First Aid Course is specifically designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective first aid care for infants and children. Throughout this specialized training, participants will learn how to assess and manage various paediatric emergencies, including choking, asthma attacks, allergic reactions, burns, head injuries, febrile seizures, and more. The course covers essential topics such as CPR for infants and children, identifying and responding to common childhood illnesses, and understanding age-specific first aid techniques.

By the end of the 2-day Paediatric First Aid Course, learners will have the confidence and competence to respond promptly and appropriately in critical situations involving young children, making a significant difference in their safety and well-being.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course

The 1-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course is an interactive training program designed to equip individuals with the essential skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively in emergency situations involving infants and children. Throughout this intensive course, participants will learn how to assess and manage critical paediatric emergencies, including but not limited to, choking, respiratory distress, allergic reactions, seizures, head injuries, severe bleeding, and unconsciousness.

Additionally, participants will gain expertise in administering CPR and using automated external defibrillators (AEDs) specifically for infants and children. The course also covers topics such as recognizing signs of common childhood illnesses, understanding and responding to medical emergencies, and implementing appropriate first aid protocols.

Paediatric First Aid Annual Refresher Course

The Paediatric First Aid Refresher Course is designed to refresh and reinforce the paediatric first aid skills and knowledge of individuals who have previously completed a comprehensive paediatric first aid training program. In this refresher course, participants will have the opportunity to revisit and update their understanding of key paediatric first aid principles, including CPR techniques for infants and children, managing choking incidents, assessing and responding to common childhood emergencies, and administering first aid for injuries and illnesses specific to young children.

Through practical demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and scenario-based simulations, participants will enhance their confidence and competence in providing immediate and effective first aid care to infants and children.

Combined First Aid At Work and Paediatric First Aid Course

The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course (2 certificates awarded) offers a unique and comprehensive training experience that covers both workplace first aid and paediatric emergencies. Learners will gain a wide range of practical skills and knowledge that will enable them to handle various emergency situations confidently. Throughout the course, learners will learn about adult first aid topics, such as assessing and managing injuries, CPR, choking, and responding to common workplace emergencies.

In addition, participants will dive into the realm of paediatric first aid, learning how to assess and respond to emergencies involving infants and children, including CPR techniques specific to young age groups, managing childhood illnesses, and dealing with specific paediatric injuries.
