Where to Get First Aid Test Online

First aid test is used to measure how knowledgeable you are in the field of emergency response and first aid application. There are many institutions in the United States and other countries that offer free or for fee first aid tests. Some are even posted on websites. The American Red Cross, which is offering training course for first aid, CPR or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and AED or automated external defibrillator courses, is also offering a free first aid test on their website. Learn more about institutions that give first aid test on the internet and get to know more hints and tips.

As you Google the internet with resources that offer first aid test, you may stumble upon the Reader’s Digest basic first aid knowledge test. The first aid test was based on the Reader’s Digest’s article called Six Minutes to Save A Life. The quiz contains 15 questions and a multiple choice method of answering.

First Aid in Ireland also runs its own first aid test which is posted on their website. The First Aid Training Services in Ireland offers Heart Saver AED Training, occupational first aid, basic first aid, emergency first aid, BLS for healthcare providers, BLS training for instructors, childcare first aid and CPR for adult friends and family. The test has a time limit of ten minutes, so you must be really quick in answering the questions.

The quiz contains questions based on twenty five emergency scenarios. Using a multiple choice method, you will be asked to click on your answer of choice. Once you clicked, you’ll be prompted immediately of the correct answer.

The American Red Cross website on the other hand made their online first aid test different. Instead of put together questions about different emergency situations, the

American Red Cross first aid quiz focused only on a single emergency scenario. The simple first aid test consists of only five questions and uses a multiple choice method of answering.

After each question, the correct answer is revealed and explained to give you better understanding of the scope.

Other institutions that offer resources of first aid test are the BBC Health Portal and the First Aid Quiz site. Most of these free first aid tests have commonalities in their questions, although different scenarios may give you a brainer.

Most common questions have something to do with giving CPR, how to stop bleeding, dressing methods, handling cuts, wounds and bruises among others. Whether you are practicing rescuer or planning to go training, an online first aid test is a perfect way to review.
